Why Competitors are Rushing to meet our price: In recent bids, the dominant competitor(s) have reduced their bids to meet our price for APC/MVPC. Is it because:

Their MVPC software is no better than our GMAXC
We have reengineered the art of implementing MVPC applications to reduce costs and project time, while ensuring highly successful applications
We do not insist that the client should buy a database as a pre-requisite
We are a new generation viable alternative to a market dominated by a few large players without serious competition

Reengineering the Implementation of Multivariable Predictive Controllers (MVPC) for Lower Cost and Faster Benefits Realization:

IntellOpt introduces an interface between its GMAXC™ MVPC controller and the HYSYS Dynamic Simulator. Now, the entire MVPC controller can be configured, modeled, tuned and tested in a virtual plant environment thereby avoiding costly plant disturbances and testing. The entire implementation time can be reduced by an order of magnitude.

MVPC Technology Reduced to a Commodity Level

The GMAXC controller has been used successfully to replace other brand name controllers in a minimal amount of time without the need of plant testing for re-modeling. Justification for replacement - reduced life cycle costs and ease of maintenance.

The trend towards commodity type MVPC technology will eventually lead other established vendors of multivariable controllers to offer significant license discounts. However, we emphasize total (software and services) lower costs by supporting in-house implementation, third party services and use of industry accepted open systems interfaces.
